Canal Chiropractic and Rehab is a lively, positive place where everyone feels welcome the moment they step in. You’ll see our rehabilitation center in the middle of the office with people stretching, moving and being active. Your appointments are held in a private, individual room with your doctor.

Your First Visit

You’ll meet with your chiropractor to talk about what has brought you to us. We’ll perform a thorough evaluation that includes a nutrition examination and a heart sound recorder. If you are in severe pain, you’ll receive a chiropractic adjustment. This visit takes about 30 minutes.

When you return, you’ll sit down with your chiropractor for a full report of your findings. You’ll discover what we found from your examination and how we think that we can help you. We’ll also perform a movement screening that evaluates which of your muscles might need to be stretched or strengthened.
Each of your following appointments can take anywhere from five minutes to 40 minutes. If you have an adjustment only, you’ll be in and out quickly. But if you have rehabilitation, massage therapy or traction as a part of your care, you’ll want to plan on being with us for a little longer.

When you become our patient, you’re hiring us to work for you. We’re here to make sure that you get the help you need to achieve your goals. We’ll also educate you on how to stay well once you’re out of pain. It’s easier to maintain your progress and be proactive than to have to start all over again once you’ve had a reinjury.
